Getting Started

How do I create my first meal plan?
After downloading the app and signing in, go to the Create Plan screen, set your dietary preferences, and tap "Generate Plan". Your personalized weekly meal plan will be ready in seconds!
What dietary restrictions does meal.run support?
We support vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and many other dietary restrictions. You can select multiple restrictions in your preferences.
How do I update my preferences?
Go to the Profile tab and tap on Preferences. You can update your dietary restrictions, calorie goals, and meal preferences at any time.

Meal Plans

Can I customize my meal plan?
Yes! You can regenerate individual meals, mark meals as favorites, and adjust your preferences to get different recommendations.
How long does a meal plan last?
Each meal plan covers 7 days (one week). You can generate as many meal plans as you need.
Can I see nutritional information for meals?
Absolutely! Each meal and recipe includes detailed nutritional information including calories, protein, carbs, and fats.

Shopping Lists

How does the shopping list work?
Your shopping list is automatically generated from your weekly meal plan. Ingredients are organized by category (produce, dairy, meat, etc.) for easy shopping.
Can I add items to my shopping list?
Yes, you can add custom items to your shopping list and check them off as you shop.
Can I share my shopping list?
The shopping list can be shared or exported from within the app.

Account & Billing

How do I sign in?
meal.run uses magic link authentication. Enter your email address, and we'll send you a secure sign-in link. No passwords to remember!
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple App Store account. Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your iOS device.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from the Profile tab in the app. All your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Troubleshooting

The app isn't loading my meal plan
Make sure you have a stable internet connection. If the problem persists, try closing and reopening the app, or contact support.
I'm not receiving magic link emails
Check your spam folder. Also ensure you're entering the correct email address. If you still have issues, contact support@meal.run.
The app is crashing
Try updating to the latest version of the app. If the issue continues, please contact support with details about what you were doing when the crash occurred.
